be inspired
I am a UK based developing photographer whose journey is inspired by ordinary life and that which it embodies: the land, the nature, the architecture, the people, the objects, the interaction and the destruction. My photography is simplicity, feeling and stillness. I work within a spectrum of themes including, street, landscape, animal, conceptual and cultural. A commonality which you will find throughout my work is that I keep true to the feeling which initially engages me, and present it in an 'organically enhanced' form. My subjects are often lone, still and quiet, and for me colour is dependent on feeling. Currently, I shoot with a Canon EOS 4000D but I am working on a series which includes film prints. As part of my ongoing journey, I aim to incorporate community, psychology and social themes into my photography, but here I introduce to you, a cultural collective. "SpainCollective, 2019" is my one of my recent completed series which assembles my journey to Valencia, Cuenca & The Pyrenees, Spain. I focus on high contrast to display what is such a bright and beautiful country. This series is homely, intriguing and a view into the contrasting parts of the country.
